  1. Take the camera out of its protective casing. Remove the small cover on the side.

    • Remove the small cover on the side.

    • Plug the cable into the slot indicated. Plug the other end (USB) into your computer.

    • The process is almost identical for the GoPro Cube camera.

  2. Once the camera is connected to the computer, turn it on.
    • Once the camera is connected to the computer, turn it on.

    • A camera icon will appear in your task bar. Click on it to open the import wizard.

    • If you are connecting the camera to a new computer, it will first load a driver and might take a few seconds for the icon to appear.

  3. From the window, double click on Import Photos and Videos. In the pop up box, type in a description for this set of videos (e.g. K-2 Meeting). To select a place other than Pictures to save the photos, click on Settings. To select a place other than Pictures to save the photos, click on Settings.  This will open a dialog box where you can select to save to an external hard drive for example.  Once done, click on OK to return to the Import box and then click on Import.

    • On the next screen of the import pop up box, you have the option of checking Erase after importing. Check this box to clean off the card in the camera.

    • You can check this box while the import is in process.

  4. Open up Windows Explorer and click on Pictures under Libraries.
    • Open up Windows Explorer and click on Pictures under Libraries.

    • There you will see a new folder with your description and the date that you downloaded the files.

    • Your photos and videos will be in that folder.

    • When finished with the import, turn off the camera and unplug it.
