  1. The screen shown here (with the icons and time screen) should be showing on the Smart Board (or touch screen monitor).  Check that it is working correctly by physically touching the screen and seeing if the Exit, Logout and Settings buttons appear. If this screen is showing on the TV's and not on the touch screen, then continue to the next step.

    • If the screen is showing on the touch screen but the Smart Board is not responding to touch, continue to Step 6.

  2. If this screen is not showing on the Smart board, move the white mouse until the three buttons appear on the screen and click on the Settings Button. Click on Displays. Enter your passcode (last four numbers of your district main phone number) and click OK.

  3. This screen should appear on all monitors. Physically go to the Touch Screen monitor and touch the Use This as the Touch Screen button. If the touch screen does not respond to touch, use the mouse for this step, but make sure that you are on the correct screen when you click on the button.

    • This should return you to the settings page. Use the X icon in the top right corner to exit.

    • On most screens however, the X button is not visible because of the screen resolution on the Smart Board. The next step will explain how to exit the settings in those cases

  4. If the Close button is not visible in the Settings screen on the Smart Board, press the Control, Option and Delete buttons on the keyboard at the same time. Select Sign Out from the screen that pops up. When you see the Windows blank screen, hit the Enter button on the keyboard to show the login prompt.

    • Select Sign Out from the screen that pops up.

    • When you see the Windows blank screen, hit the Enter button on the keyboard to show the login prompt.

    • Enter the passcode (last four of district phone number to log back in.)

  5. If you were able to return to the Zoom Rooms main screen by closing the settings screen and did NOT have to follow the previous step, move the mouse, and select the Exit Button.  Enter the passcode at the prompt and click Ok to exit the software. Once you are at the Windows Desktop, click on the Zoom Rooms icon in the Taskbar to reopen the software.
    • If you were able to return to the Zoom Rooms main screen by closing the settings screen and did NOT have to follow the previous step, move the mouse, and select the Exit Button. Enter the passcode at the prompt and click Ok to exit the software.

    • Once you are at the Windows Desktop, click on the Zoom Rooms icon in the Taskbar to reopen the software.

  6. Occasionally, the Smart Board settings get confused and we need to tell the Smart Board driver which screen is the touch screen, just like we just did in Zoom. Go to the pen tray and press (and then release) both keyboard and mouse buttons on the pen tray at once.

    • Go to the pen tray and press (and then release) both keyboard and mouse buttons on the pen tray at once.

    • This should bring up the grey calibration screen. If this shows on the TV's instead of the Smart Board, press the same two buttons on the pen tray again. This will switch it to the Smart Board.

    • Go through the calibration process by following the on screen instructions and now the Smart Board should respond correctly to touch.
