  1. The settings area is used for changing the cameras, speakers or displays. If the meeting icons are not showing on the touch panel, use the white keyboard and mouse to interact with them. Go to the Touch Screen and touch it.  You will see icons appears on the bottom of the screen. The Settings icon is found at the bottom on the right hand side. When in a Meeting the Settings are accessed by touching  the three little dots on the right side of the menu bar at the bottom of the screen.

    • Go to the Touch Screen and touch it. You will see icons appears on the bottom of the screen. The Settings icon is found at the bottom on the right hand side.

    • When in a Meeting the Settings are accessed by touching the three little dots on the right side of the menu bar at the bottom of the screen.

    • Touch the Settings icon on the screen that pops up.

  2. If you are planning on changing some settings, you can unlock the settings area. Click on the lock icon in the bottom left of the screen.

    • That will bring up a pop up box asking for a code. The code is 1357. Enter it using the keyboard or click in the text entry box and a touch keyboard should show up on the screen.

  3. Select Microphone from the list on the left.

    • In the right hand column, you should see a bar that reacts to the sound in the room. If the microphone is working correctly, the blue bar will move up and down as it picks up the sound in the room.

    • There is also a button to test the microphone. Press it, say a few words and the system should play it back to you.

    • If you are using a portable system and other sites are complaining about echoing, try turning the Software Audio Processing on.

    • Room systems should have the Echo Cancelling Speakerphone HDL300 system selected and Portable systems should have Yeti Stereo Microphone selected.

    • You cannot adjust the microphone volume through the software. If ALL of the other sites are having a hard time hearing you, please contact ECBOCES regarding this.

  4. To work with the sound that you hear in the room select Speaker from the left hand side.

    • At the top of the right hand column, there is a slider for the volume and a Test Speaker button. You can use this to test the sound level in the room.

    • Full room systems should be set to Echo Cancelling Speakerphone and Portable Systems should be set to PC Monitor (Intel Display)

    • There is now a volume control in the active meeting controls that can be used to adjust the volume you hear.

  5. The camera tab is used for switching from the front to back camera or visa versa. From the left side, select Camera.

    • From the left side, select Camera.

    • You should see two or three cameras listed in the right hand column (unless you are using a portable system in which there is only camera).

    • There will be a bar by the camera that is currently showing.

    • Select the other camera to switch the cameras.

    • The document camera should be selected from the share content screen but can also be used as a regular camera if the front camera is not working

  6. The display setting should only be accessed if the conference icons are showing on the regular TV's instead of the touch panel. Select Display from the left side.

    • Select Display from the left side.

    • This will bring up the following image on all TV's. Touch the screen that is the touch panel.

    • Once completed click on the X in the top right corner to Exit Settings.
